Background
Karnafully Foundation (KF) is going to celebrate its 11 (Eleventh) years of development journey on 2013, has been working for poverty alleviation and empowering the poor, marginal and unprivileged people including tribal especially in the southeast region of Bangladesh. In fact, during the initial stage of KF, the objectives were to bring a positive change in the socio-economic condition of the socially behind & neglected population of the society by giving special priority to the poor people to provide financial access through formatting Samity.
this organization Gradually, the KF was extend their diversified development activities with a view to improving lives of the poor that created a non-profit management organization registered by different government department/authorities like N.G.O Affairs Bureau No:-3218, dated: 09/09/2019, Microcredit Regulatory Authority: registration no., 20210061, dated: 22/09/2022, Department of Social Service: 3130-2016, dated: 15/03/2016 for its unique identity, performance and contribution towards sustainable rural progress, development & opportunity.
KF works south-east coastal part of Bangladesh covering 5 Upazilas under Chattogram districts like part of a Chattogram city, Rangunia, Roujan & Potia upazila & Rangamati Sadar. The head office is situated in Soleman Showdagor Market, Rajarhat, Uttor padua, Rangunia, Chittagong-4360, and KF operates its’ diversified development programs through 6 Branch offices. KF has a strong dynamic executive body consisting of 7 members with dedicated multicultural team. So far, KF has been achieved a significant number, direct outreach 3218 beneficiaries among them 3057 are female which was addressed by different projects and programe
The organization has been establishing fruitful partnership and linkages with Govt. agencies, Private sectors and different local NGOs, INGOs and CSOs for its program participation and implementation. KF has been always maintaining good relationship with local and district level administration for its program implementation. KF promoting sustainable IGA’s, SME’s and innovative enterprises by involving youth, Children & women which were contributing in socio-economic development in this countries.
