Education finance refers to the management and allocation of financial resources to support educational institutions, programs, and initiatives. It includes financing processes, strategies, and policies to ensure the availability of adequate resources for quality education. Careful planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for effective education financing to meet the diverse needs of the education system. This includes considerations such as teacher salaries, infrastructure development, curriculum materials, educational technology, student support services, and professional development programs. Loans, grants, and partnerships with non-governmental organizations or international organizations.
The Honorable Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Government has taken various measures to increase the education rate of the country and prevent premature dropout of students. Currently, a 100% free textbook distribution program has been launched for all schools up to the 5th standard and women’s education up to the twelfth standard.
In spite of all this, it can be seen that most of the boys and girls of the village are not going to school and many are dropping out even after going to school. One of the reasons for this is that the parents are unable to provide the other accessories required for their children’s education, pens, bags, uniforms, travel expenses, etc. The students are being worked on. They are being provided with financial support and other facilities including a pen, guidebook, and school bag. So far, the organization has enabled about 250 students to continue their education through various forms of support.

Beneficiaries

KF is working for the upliftment of extremely poor, ultra-poor, underprivileged, distressed, widowed, abandoned, isolated, climate victims, adolescent girls, agriculture, livestock, disaster-affected vulnerable, and economically not well off in the communities. For increasing the inclusive sector, KF is also working with women’s groups, business clusters, community or ethnic groups, various business associations, and the private sector where the entire community is involved in the program. Up to now, KF has covered a significant number of people who are benefiting from the existing projects/programs i.e. 3218 direct beneficiaries out of which 3057 are women beneficiaries.

“Karnaphuli Foundation” is very proud to celebrate the Great Victory Day-2023 by organizing a vibrant painting competition and prize distribution function at “Assambasti Govt. Primary School”. This event in primary schools pays homage to the historical significance of the Great Victory Day and provides an opportunity for young artists to showcase their talents.

This event is an embodiment of our commitment to nurture creativity and commemorate the spirit of Great Victory Day-2023. We are delighted to celebrate this momentous day through the language of art and creativity. Let us celebrate the essence of Victory Day with colorful strokes of art and creativity.

Grants or payments to support a student’s education, awarded on the basis of academic or other achievement. A scholarship is financial aid given to a student, which may be based on academic achievement or include financial need for the purpose of attending school.

Karnaphuli Foundation provides financial assistance to members who face financial difficulties in pursuing this education.
