Welcome to Karnafully Foundation’s website Karnafully Foundation started its mission in 2013 with the mission of improving the quality of life of people living at the bottom of the socio-economic pyramid and establishing a society free from poverty and economic inequality.
Initially, Karnafully Foundation programs focused on raising awareness and forming groups of the poor for integrated development through rights, education, mini-irrigation, primary health care, credit for income generation, etc. Later, based on a decade of grassroots experience, it was realized that microcredit could be the most effective tool to combat poverty in Bangladesh. The perception turned into reality in 1991.
At present, Karnafully Foundation is providing multi-faceted services to almost everyone as well as the underprivileged people of other developing countries. Apart from microcredit activities, the organization is running several non-financial programs counting health awareness, sanitation, hygiene, agricultural inputs etc. from its own resources. As a result of these initiatives, almost the poor and underprivileged people are benefiting. At present almost, people of Rangunia are benefiting from the services and activities of Karnafully Foundation.
