Ongoing programs of the organization
Karnaphuli Foundation has implemented various awareness and
development activities with its own funding, which are as follows.
While 25% of the total area of a country needs trees, our country has only 16% of the total area of trees, which is very disappointing. In response to the situation, every year, government and private initiatives are taken to plant trees. In the current situation, only non-governmental initiatives are enough to overcome the situation, personally, He will be aware of us and hold meetings about the importance of tree planting with the people of various union villages in the district by planting trees in the backyards and open spaces of our homes and by planting various fruits, forests, and herbs in the open spaces of the road, fallow fields and hilly lands. More than 2100 trees have been planted on about 1 acre of hilly land in Pukuria village of Padua Union in the Rangoon district of Chittagong.
Careful planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for effective education financing to meet the diverse needs of the education system. This includes considerations such as teacher salaries, infrastructure development, curriculum materials, educational technology, student support services, and professional development programs. Loans, grants, and partnerships with non-governmental organizations or international organizations.
The Honorable Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Government has taken various measures to increase the education rate of the country and prevent premature dropout of students. Currently, a 100% free textbook distribution program has been launched for all schools up to the 5th standard and women’s education up to the twelfth standard.
In spite of all this, it can be seen that most of the boys and girls of the village are not going to school and many are dropping out even after going to school. One of the reasons for this is that the parents are unable to provide the other accessories required for their children’s education, pens, bags, uniforms, travel expenses, etc. The students are being worked on. They are being provided with financial support and other facilities including a pen, guidebook, and school bag. So far, the organization has enabled about 250 students to continue their education through various forms of support.
Partnerships with charities : Partnerships with established charities, such as local NGOs (Karnafuli Foundation), help in providing food to underprivileged and orphaned children. These organizations often have experience in addressing the needs of vulnerable populations and already have programs to run food distribution buses and soup kitchens.
Remember, when providing food assistance, it is critical to consider cultural sensitivities, dietary preferences, and the specific nutritional needs of the communities or regions in which orphans and orphans live. Cooperation, sustainability, and a holistic approach that addresses both immediate food needs and long-term solutions. Kareta contributes significantly to the welfare and development of these vulnerable children.
